LEGENDS OF GOTHAM
My most popular podcast, with over 25,000 listeners. Along with Anne Marie DeSimone, I discussed the FOX series Gotham. We also focused on teaching our listeners the minutia of Batman. I worked hand-in-hand with FOX and Warner Brothers to run contests and book actors/creators from the show.
We even appeared in a “fan trailer” FOX aired in primetime to promote the premiere. I got to play Jim Gordon and Harvey Bullock.
After two years off, we brought back the show for the final season in early 2019.
GREETINGS FROM STORYBROOKE
For several years, we covered the ABC series Once Upon A Time. What started as a fancast soon became a live stream where our listeners would contribute as key parts of the show. In 2015, I was asked to attend Regal Con, the Once Upon A Time convention in Anaheim, California, where we recorded an episode of Greetings live to a packed house.
When we moved on to other projects, we passed Greetings off to three loyal listeners, who stuck with the podcast through Once Upon A Time’s final season.

Weird TV shines a light into forgotten corners of television history to examine obscure media through a modern lens. Each week Bill Meeks reviews obscure television shows, made-for-tv movies, and primetime specials. He’ll watch just about anything, as long as it’s weird.

THE FAKIST
A “sketch dramedy” podcast, covering the fake news… For Real.
This is a story about a flawed man, born of privilege, who only lived for himself. It tells of the last day of his newscast; of how his enemies plotted against him until the final battle, and of how his partner LeAnn abandoned him just when he thought he had it all figured out. It ends with a podcast. It begins in the wreckage of KCOM Studios on the night of Deathember 13th, 2021. In Somewhere West of New York City, the faithful still tune in at six o’clock, waiting for the newscast to start… but it never will. The Fakist died two years ago.

UNIVERSE BOX
Universe Box was a variety show. Every episode was set to a theme, which we would explore using a rotating collection of segments that did everything from sketch comedy to improv to movie reviews and everything in between.
Universe Box was about our listeners, who shared stories based around universal themes like Home, Coffee, Manners, and Nickelodeon.
OLD WIDE WEB
My first podcast, only available in this YouTube playlist. This was a journalistic work, all about early internet nostalgia. Modeled on the NPR style, I told the history of the early web using sound, music, and a little dramatic license. Notable interviews included the creator of the web’s first viral sensation Dino Ignatio and the leader of the “Turn The Web Dark” protests that made headlines in the late 90s.
