We travel back to the 1500s to learn how putting rats on trial helped a jurist rebuild his career in a new country. If you were born in France in the1500s, today’s subject would be a well-known trial, spoken of over glasses of wine and pints of ale in taverns across the country. But since we’re in the 21st Century, this infamous case has become “Invisible History.”
