I’ve known Gretchen Schneider since I was 17 years old. We met doing theater in Wheeling, WV, and have since collaborated in stage plays, a music video, and a game of pool at Ye Olde Alpha. Most recently, she joined the cast of my “audio sketch dramedy” The Fakist as Cindy McNeil, the character who originally set off the whole story back in Season 1. She’s the third actress to play the part, so we talk about that, but it’s mostly a chance for two old school #TheaterKids to talk about old times doing theater in the hills of West Virginia.

Samuel Lewis joins us as well, and he has some interesting ideas about what his new character Carl, Paul DaFoe’s personal assistant, has been up to off-stage in the first two seasons… A Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead/Lion King 1 1/2 speculation.

We also talk about acting and improvising online, and the tools actors have to leave in the toolbox when doing voiceover work.

Please enjoy, and check out the full episode below!
