We’ve had 120-ish individual actors work on The Fakist, but this episode is the first time I’ve been able to sucker one of my original “theater friends” to help out.
Gretchen Schneider joins us in Season 3 as Cindy McNeil, the woman who set the entire plot of the series in motion. She’s the third actress to play the part, and she did a bang-up job! Look for an interview early next week where we geek out on our shared theatrical past.
As for the episode, if each episode this season is a movie, this is a Cameron Crowe picture. Maybe more a mid-00s Zack Braff movie? A romcom with a dude? Is that a genre? Anyway, it’s a story about friendship and learning to face your past. Hope you love it!
